A Winter’s Tale
When it gets colder again and a white blanket of snow covers the Nock Mountains, then the time has come again for winter adventures in the mountains.
Winter in Bad Kleinkirchheim, that is: fun on the slopes at its best, a sledge fun for the whole family and snowy winter landscapes of idyllic snowshoe hikes. The cross-country ski trails are perfectly prepared to take you over the glittering landscape, like the frozen lakes of Carinthia which are inviting for ice-skating pleasure.
Over 100 kilometers of well-groomed ski runs and deep snow slopes are waiting for the most adventurous alpine athletes for an unparalleled skiing fun. For a real work-out, just take off your overcoat and take a ski tour upwards to the gentle Nockberge summit. Before going back, you can treat yourself to a stop at one of the rustic ski lodges to strengthen yourself again with a hearty Kaiserschmarren.
While the slopes are full of life, nature lovers walk in Bad Kleinkirchheim away from the crowd softly through the snowy valley. It is here where you can listen how the flakes are falling and where the sparkling snow crystals are illuminated in the sunshine. After all activities and exercises, the eventful day is rounded off in the soothing sauna facilities in the Thermal Römerbad. Oh what a wonderful experience, you could indulge yourself for quite some time. And many visitors have already booked the holiday for the next year, because it was simply wonderful. By the way, we are located right next to the slopes, so strap on your skis and off you go to the Kaiserburgbahn(lift). The cross-country trail is only 2 minutes’ walk from us, too.
