Autumn enjoyment

Slowly the green mountain slopes transform into a colorful spectacle of nature. The leaves are turning color and calm is returning to the Nock Mountains. Now a unique hiking paradise unfolds around Bad Kleinkirchheim. The deer do their rounds, because it is the rutting season. In the evening on the balcony, you can hear their calls, which is a very special spectacle. Not only hiking is an experience, but also cycling, walking, boat sailing or just enjoying the peace and quiet, there are innumerable ways to spend wonderful autumn days with us. Because when it is no longer hot and the sun still shines, it is then that you can only really enjoy the nature. Now is the time to collect mushrooms. Mmhh a wonderful mushroom ragout, because you will find plenty of chanterelle mushroom and penny buns in our region. Later in the autumn, the blueberries and cranberries are ripe on the meadows and lure the tourists, as well as the locals, to go up the mountains to gather a few of these delicious fruits. In September, the cows are in the cattle drive, walking down over the mountains to Kirchheimertal. A harvest festival is also organized and many come together to celebrate and to say thanks for a good summer and a bountiful harvest.
