In 1998, three innovative and sustainably thoughtful Bad Kleinkirchheimer entrepreneurs decided to build the biomass heating plant. Managing Director Ing. Christian Mayrbrugger, active organic farmer, deputy umpire/chairman, Markus Ronacher, successful hotelier as well as our dad and umpire/chairman of the biomass heating plant Bad Kleinkirchheim, Christian Mitterberger, decided to sustainably supply Bad Kleinkirchheim with renewable energy through this collaborative project. Only wood chips from local Carinthian forests are used as fuel. The construction of the biomass heating plant helped to permanently improved the air quality in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Of course, the Ottingerhof is supplied with heat from biomass only and also we provide the heating plant with energy wood from our forest.
