A scent of spring is in the air…

Now is the time to get out into nature, because, within the Nockmountains spring provides a very special atmosphere. Accompany the Biosphere Park rangers in an exciting tour across the mountains. Take a ship out across one of the many beautiful Carinthian lakes, or get fit while cycling around the Millstätter lake. Enjoy a special mix of white mountain tops and green valleys on a mild spring evening, here at the Ottingerhof.

How beautiful it is, when the warm sunbeams lure the first spring flowers out, or when, whilst getting up in the morning, birds twitter in front of your window. This is the time when the Ottingerhof with all its animals and plants wakes up from its winter rest and work around the house and the farm begins. Fipsi, Haribo and Nils, our dwarf rabbits, can now venture into their outer compound again. Meanwhile, our little goats can enjoy the colorful spring with all its fresh scents, directly from their viewing platform. The cats bask themselves in the sun, if of course, Mati, our jung Labrador, doesn‘t pay them a visit.

Finally having breakfast under the clear sky again and enjoying Elfi‘s delicious wood-oven backed bread. Get your deckchair out comfortably in the afternoon or enjoy the dreamily mood from the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening. That‘s what a vacation feels like.
